I grew up in the heart of the Arkansas Valley near Fowler, Colorado. My early years were spent between my Mother’s small farm and my Grandfather’s ranch nestled in the canyons of southeastern Colorado more well known as Pinon Canyon. The time that I spent with my family offered me rich memories of the traditions and the love for the western lifestyle. Here is where I learned some of my most important lessons in life. My most treasured moments were the long days in the saddle as a child. My equestrian endeavors have been diverse over my lifetime. These opportunities have allowed me to meet and work with many exceptional and gifted individuals and in turn providing me with inspiration for my storytelling and photography. After chasing my college rodeo dreams and as a pre-grad, I took on my first teaching job. It was in this role that I discovered my passion for writing and literature. Building my platform from the western lifestyle, life experiences, heritage, horses and ranching with the world, motivated me and keeps me true to my roots. As the years passed, I have happily returned to my horseback lifestyle. Together with my husband, Anthony and two daughters, Mya and Jewel, we continue to live the western way of life. It is pride in Family, God and my country that I cherishes most.In the spring of 2020, we purchased a ranch in Colorado and we will be leaving the beautiful State of Wyoming behind to repatriate to Colorado. Our new ranch will be very near to the place of my original roots.
